Essenia (from Aramean esse: I am, being, and nia: knowledge)Self-knowledge; to know one’s inner being; the study, the science of being, of what is essential in every living being.
The Essenia Foundation is a charity organization recognized by the Canadian government. Its objectives are:
• to promote a new ecology of Man and Nature
• to take care of the Common Good and of Life in all its manifestations
• to cultivate and protect Wisdom
• to propose a powerful and durable alternative to the multiple limitations of the modern world
• to protect the treasures of Nature.
• to show through real actions that another quality of life is possible.
The Essenia Foundation is built around the strong values of respect for Life and respect for the Sacred. It wants to reinforce these values by the means of real actions.
To deepen and to reinforce this work all over the world, regional and national antennas like Essenia Europe are created and each day more good intentions are being mobilized.
Let everybody wake up to see their own true talents and the treasures that Nature offers. Let’s give meaning back to our lives.

Our vision
Every day children die in armed conflicts. Animal species disappear, forests are destroyed. The air becomes unbreathable. Old people die in isolation. The values of respect, sacred, responsibility have completely lost their meaning. The wisdom of the people disappears.
At the dawning of the third millennium a world without soul comes into being.
Hundreds of courageous NGOs work hard and try in vain to erase the consequences of this ecological global disaster.
But man makes the Earth sick because he lives cut from his soul, from wisdom, unconsciously. Man distorts nature instead of taking care of it.
He cuts the limb that he sits on, and destroys the earth that gives him life.
600 years before Christ, the Essenes, also called the Therapists, fathers of modern ecology, already warned mankind about pollution when this actually had not yet touched the Earth. They spoke about the pollution of thoughts, feelings and the soul.
Today the Essenia Foundation, international charity organization, stands up to preserve this ancient universal wisdom and to make it work on earth for a new ecology and a new art of living.

To preserve the world patrimony of Wisdom.
This is a richness, a treasure on which depends the future of humanity. Without wisdom we are on the road to destruction. The most beautiful and the most certain way to protect this living richness is not to lock it up in a museum or in a safe but to let it be alive, make it accessible for everybody, diffuse it in every language and every country.
To promote the awakening of consciences.
Conscience is the key for change that the world needs now. Being conscious of the self, of its thoughts and actions, towards the others, and living nature. To open up to the superior global intelligence that is bigger than man and that creates and harmonizes the world.
To develop, through education, a state of consciousness to take care of the essential and the sacred in our life. To find back the meaning of respect, of gratitude, wonder, humility and mutual support.
To install a new Ecology.
Man has to live on Earth with nature not against it.
Ecology must not be relegated to an ideology, or be blocked within political activity. It also has to develop a cultural, social, economic and spiritual dimension. It is a global art of living, in harmony with all the living beings on Earth, solidarity, a way of being together.
